This application development position will be responsible for many components of Endicia’s
Platform Applications and core back-end infrastructure.
Essential Duties
Development of internal auditing, reporting and customer support tools
Monitoring of current back-end applications to ensure 24x7 operations and scale for
growth – anticipating performance or capacity bottlenecks and correcting them prior
to a problem
Enhancements to current automated billing invoicing, and postage systems
Development and support of our EDI processes to external sources for payment processing,
partner/vendor interfaces and regulatory requirements
Development of API’s/Web-services for our client applications as well as direct interface for customers
Creation and maintenance of documentation for supported applications and interfaces.
Excellent troubleshooting skills for all applications and environments
This position requires as the ability to independently analyze software/system problems
and the ability rapid implement the appropriate software solutions

Qualifications
BS or MS in computer science or related field
2+ years application development
Strong familiarity or expertise in C, C++, Visual Basic, C# and .Net applications.
Expertise in developing web-services, SOAP, ISAPI and/or .NET/ASP applications
Fluency in XML and SQL
Fluency in Windows server OS’s: 2000, 2003
Bonus knowledge: ADO, multi-threading web interfaces, Windows scripting, load balancing,
COM/DTC technologies, Java, and AJAX
Experience with mission critical systems and appropriate business practices to ensure
smooth, uninterrupted operations of such systems
Appropriate skills to work closely and effectively with development staff, partners,
vendors and management

Manage the execution of the activities relating to the US Postal Service relationship and the
teams associated with growing the parcel volume and number of customers in the parcel shipping space
using Endicia products and services. Activities will include field sales and customer focused
marketing projects, sales support efforts, integration activities and communication plans.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to:
Manage and support the activities surrounding the marketing and sales efforts to grow the High Volume Shipping segment. Assist in development and lead execution of plans.
Assist in managing the relationship with high profile partners such as the US Postal Service.
Coordinating with Marketing and Sales teams to plan and execute related activities
Develop specific near term marketing plans and longer term activities that deliver on the overall business objectives
Initialize and prioritize projects within sales and marketing; sales support and customer integration efforts.

Qualifications
The position requires the ability to work with a variety of disciplines surrounding a software
product and interface to field sales and execute on efforts to grow the shipping business. Superior
